Transportation
Our twenty-seven school buses travel approximately 276,000 miles a year while transporting over 2,000 students daily. Not only are we responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from school and co-curricular events, but also for the maintenance of buses, service vehicles, and snow removal equipment within the district.
We welcome your questions any time. The best way to reach us is to call (207) 767-7714 between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Bus Routes
My Ride K-12 (formerly Ride360) Guide
The SPSD Transportation Department uses My Ride K-12 to provide information about bus routes to families via a computer or a smartphone app.
Please note that the app does not track the bus' location, but provides the bus number and route.
Please note that students need to be out at their bus stop 10 minutes early. This is to ensure students do not miss the bus.
Please click the appropriate link for instructions on how to create your My Ride K-12 account.
To set up your My Ride K-12 account, you will need your student’s nine-digit student code.
If you or your student does not know that code, you can locate it through one of the following:
You can find it in Infinite Campus or ask your child for their JumpRope password (which is the same number), or
You can call Central Office at call (207) 871-0555, or
You can also call the office of your child’s school:
SPMS: (207) 773-5629
SPHS: (207) 767-3266
Brown: (207) 799-5196
Dyer (207) 799-4845
Kaler (207) 799-3214
Skillin (207) 773-7375
Small (207) 799-7676
Many students know this number as they use it for various school issued accounts.
Kindergarten families will be reached out to by the Transportation team via email or phone to confirm bus information during the summer before the new school year begins.
