South Portland High School recently celebrated Spirit Week. During that time, students held a food drive to support their community. This was a cooperative effort between the SPHS student body and the South Portland Food Cupboard. Students really embraced the opportunity to give back to their community. One students' response when asked his thoughts about the food drive this year:
"I like it when schools do these kinds of things. It gives us (the student body) a chance to come together and give back to the community while also allowing the school's spirit to skyrocket... It's just a good opportunity to do something fun." –Rigel, Class of 2025
