Class of 2024 and families,

Like most of you, we have been watching weather forecasts for tomorrow, and unfortunately, all of them have noted a better than 50% chance of rain in the afternoon. One forecast even included a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. This morning, the district also contacted our consulting meteorologist, who shared that there was a high probability of rain at the time of the ceremony.

While we know this is disappointing news for families, an indoor ceremony in Beal Gymnasium tomorrow is most appropriate for the safety of our guests, graduates, and staff members.

Please recall that in order to accommodate all families in our gym, we must limit each graduate to FOUR tickets to attend the indoor ceremony. These tickets were stapled in a white envelope inside the white bag that the cap and gown was distributed in yesterday.

Unfortunately, we will not have any extra tickets available and we can only accept physical tickets for entry. No pictures of tickets will be accepted.

We will have a live stream of the ceremony in the air-conditioned SPHS Auditorium. These 800 seats will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No tickets are required for this area.

Furthermore, we will be live streaming the event at this link for viewing from anywhere in the world. You may turn on translated captions by following the directions included in the attachment.

The doors for both the Gym and the Auditorium will open at 1pm tomorrow.

We're so very excited to celebrate with you tomorrow!
