Our Small School PTA organized a Move-a-thon fundraiser gets all kids outside and moving. Our students rolled, walked, ran, danced or moved in any way they could around the playground field. Every grade level participated and our parent volunteers kept spirits high by cheering kids on and providing snacks.
Jane Papi-Smith, our Physical Education Teacher, collaborated with the PTA to make a schedule, set up the course, and prepare kids for getting themselves moving. Thanks to family and community members who sponsored students for this event, we raised money that will be used for field trips and other enrichment experiences.
