Students read their spooky stories to each other and to teachers in small groups.

A spooky story contest at the South Portland Main Library inspired 3rd and 4th grade writers! Some students entered the public library contest, and all students who wrote and submitted a story were invited to an author's celebration in the library. Students shared stories with each other, and were recognized for parts of their stories that stood out as unique.
