SPMS Families, we have a gas smell at SPMS and we have evacuated all students and staff to Skillin. The fire department is here investigating and the gas company is on the way. Students are inside Skillin or on buses out front of Skillin staying warm.
Please do not come and get your child at this time- we are hopeful to return to school very soon!

Tuesday, December 17th: 7th & 8th grade Yearbook Club and 5th & 6th grade Civil Rights Team are canceled today. 🏀 There is no athletics shuttle for basketball practices today.

Friday, December 13th: 7th grade girls and 7th grade boys basketball practices are canceled today. 8th grade girls, 8th grade boys, and the Expansion team will still practice. The transportation department has informed us that there will not be a shuttle to bring athletes home on Friday after practices. If athletes do not have a ride home after practice, they should go home after school. They will not be penalized for missing practice.
Thursday, December 12th: All clubs are canceled except for 5th through 8th grade Drama and Shark Club (5th & 6th grade extended day program). 🏀 Boys basketball will play Lyman Moore at home at 3:45 (7th grade) and 5:00 (8th grade) and girls basketball will play at Lyman Moore at 3:45 (7th grade) and 5:00 (8th grade).

Monday, December 2nd: Tonight is a PTO Meeting and Family Open Gym from 5:15-6:15! Clubs: Jazz Band is canceled today and will practice tomorrow instead. 5th & 6th grade Math Club will meet today. Athletics: Due to the open gym tonight, basketball will practice from 2:20 to 3:45 (7/8 Boys) and the 3:45 to 5:00 (7/8 Girls) slot. There is NO expansion team practice today.
